Deine Aufgaben

Als Solutions Architect treibst Du die Digitalisierung von Umspannwerken voran: Du konzipierst skalierbare Compute- und Kommunikationsarchitekturen, begleitest Kunden von der Idee bis zum Betrieb und sorgst dafür, dass Lösungen in kritischen Infrastrukturen zuverlässig funktionieren.

Technische Beratung: Du analysierst Anforderungen, entwickelst passende Architekturkonzepte und führst Workshops, Präsentationen und Schulungen (Pre- und After-Sales) für Kunden durch
PoCs & Testumgebungen: Du planst und realisierst Proof of Concepts, baust Lab-Setups auf und überführst Erkenntnisse in robuste, praxistaugliche Implementierungen
Qualitätssicherung: Du testest hardwarenahe Software (z. B. Treiber, Watchdog, Firmware), validierst Virtualisierungs- und Containerlösungen und stellst die Kompatibilität mit Windows/Linux sowie Netzwerkinfrastrukturen sicher
Portfolio-Weiterentwicklung: Du identifizierst Trends (Edge, Security, Automatisierung,IECStandards), arbeitest eng mit Produktmanagement & Entwicklung zusammen und erstellst technische Guidelines sowie Best Practices
Wissenstransfer: Du erarbeitest klare technische Dokumentationen wie Handbücher, Installationsanleitungen und Schulungsmaterialien, führst interne und externe Trainings durch und stellst durch die Pflege unserer Wissensdatenbanken eine dauerhaft hohe Dokumentationsqualität sicher

Dein Profil

Du hast ein abgeschlossenes technisches Studium, z. B. in Elektrotechnik, Computer Engineering, Informatik,Energietechnikoder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
Du bringst Erfahrung in der Administration und Installation von Windows-Server- und Client-Systemen sowie IT-Netzwerken mit
Kenntnisse im Umgang mit hardware-naher Software, beispielsweise Treibern, Watchdog-Timern oder Firmware, gehören zu deinem Profil
Du verfügst über praktische Erfahrung mit Virtualisierungslösungen (z. B. VMwareESXi, Hyper-V) und Container-Technologien (Docker, idealerweise Kubernetes) in Edge- und Cloud-Umgebungen
Grundlagen in IT- und OT-Security sowie ein solides elektrotechnisches Verständnis bringst du mit
Analytisches Denken, eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Teamorientierung zeichnen dich aus
Deine Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind verhandlungssicher
Idealerweise hast du bereits Kenntnisse in der Primär- und Sekundärtechnik von Umspannwerken (z. B. Schaltanlagen, Schutztechnik, Automatisierungssysteme)
Grundwissen zu Netzschutz, Leittechnik und Kommunikationsprotokollen in der Energiewirtschaft ist wünschenswert

Your mission

As a Solutions Architect, you drive the digitalization of substations: you design scalable compute and communication architectures, support customers from initial idea to operational deployment, and ensure that solutions in critical infrastructures run reliably.

Technical Consulting: You analyze customer requirements, develop suitable architecture concepts, and conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions (pre‑ and post‑sales)
PoCs & Test Environments: You plan and implement Proof of Concepts, build lab environments, and translate findings into robust, practical implementations
Quality Assurance: You test hardware‑related software (e.g., drivers, watchdogs, firmware), validate virtualization and container solutions, and ensure compatibility with Windows/Linux systems as well as network infrastructures
Portfolio Development: You identify trends (edge computing, security, automation, IEC standards), closely collaborate with product management and development teams, and create technical guidelines and best practices
Knowledge Transfer: You produce clear technical documentation such as manuals, installation guides, and training materials. You deliver internal and external training sessions and maintain knowledge databases to ensure consistently high documentation quality

Your profile

You hold a completed technical degree, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification
You have experience in administering and installing Windows server/client systems and IT networks
You are familiar with hardware‑related software such as drivers, watchdog timers, or firmware
You have practical experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V) and container technologies (Docker, ideally Kubernetes) in edge and cloud environments
You bring foundational skills in IT and OT security as well as solid knowledge of electrical engineering
You demonstrate analytical thinking, a structured working style, and strong teamwork skills
Your German and English skills are business fluent
Ideally, you already have knowledge of primary and secondary substation technology (e.g., switchgear, protection systems, automation systems)
Basic knowledge of grid protection, control systems, and communication protocols in the energy sector is desirable
